Sustainability Engineer/Manager (m/f/d)
In your role, you will work in a dynamic environment at the forefront of sustainability efforts and environmental innovation. You will take key responsibilities in analysis and be responsible for improving the environmental performance of our products to develop sustainable solutions. Your work will directly contribute to the development of greener and more efficient products that not only meet legal environmental requirements, but also exceed our customers' expectations in terms of sustainability.
Your tasks
- Creation and management of the entire LCA cycle and data analysis of our products
- Modeling and calculation of the carbon footprint of our products
- Preparation of LCA reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Organizing and ensuring successful data import into the supply chain of suppliers
- Developing strategies and best practices for the use and analysis of primary and secondary data from our suppliers
- Carrying out compliance assessments and ensuring our products in accordance with the GHG protocol and ISO standards (ISO 14040/44 and ISO 14025).
- Contributing technical environmental knowledge and training other teams on topics such as LCA, Scope 1, 2, 3 emissions and the GHG protocol
- Close cooperation with Purchasing, QM, PM and Product development.
Your profile
- Degree in environmental engineering, sustainable technology or a related field
- Knowledge and professional experience in carrying out LCA calculations, ESG reporting and implementation of GHG and ISO standards in industrial or software companies
- Ideally knowledge of the LCI databases
- Experience in carbon footprint calculations, LCA and Scope 1,2,3
- Strong analytical, diagnostic skills
- Willingness to learn
- Passion for corporate sustainability, carbon emissions and decarbonization management
- Enthusiasm for working in our diverse and international team international team
- Business fluent in German and English
